Mark is a Professional Civil Engineer with more than three decades of experience designing high-use public projects such as the Walton Lighthouse, the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, the WWII Memorial in Washington DC and projects around the world. A husband, father and grandfather, Mark volunteers his time and expertise to expand affordable housing, improve transportation and foster a more sustainable future. Mark has served more than 8 years as a planning commissioner, more than a decade with the Santa Cruz Area Chamber of Commerce including a term as president, and, is currently active on several non-profit boards.Â
Mark believes change is ongoing and can be a powerful tool for shaping a community into a more equitable, more sustainable, more prosperous community benefitting everyone.
